• We uphold a “Summertime Casual – Dress to Impress” policy at ROOF. Our upscale venue is located within a contemporary 4-star hotel. We encourage guests to dress in fashionable attire that complements our upscale environment. Sport jackets and dresses are always welcome!
• Please refrain from wearing hats, beach attire, worn-out shoes, workout attire, sweatpants, hoodies, sleeveless shirts for men, clothing with offensive wording or depictions, ripped or torn jeans, exposed undergarments, bandannas, or any attire deemed inappropriate by ROOF Management.
• ROOF Management and Door Staff retains final approval on guest entry and reserves the right to turn away individuals who are not dressed appropriately, regardless of reservation status. Our dress code policy prioritizes safety; therefore, entry may also be refused to guests who appear impaired by alcohol or drugs, or exhibit threatening, combative, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior toward others, including ROOF, Hotel, Security employees, or other personnel. All discretionary decisions regarding this dress code will be applied in a gender-neutral and nondiscriminatory manner, in accordance with applicable laws. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere at ROOF.
• Please note that our dress code policy is more lenient throughout the weekdays based on scheduled events or programming. On Fridays and Saturdays, the dress code will be strictly enforced at the door after 8 PM. On Sundays, the dress code will be strictly enforced all day.

Please be advised that a cover charge applies after 9 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as all day on Sundays. Reservations with tables are exempt from this cover charge, including their guest list. Additionally, cover charges throughout the week may vary depending on programming.

Because ROOF is a bar/lounge, it is preferred that guests under the age of 21 are accompanied by parents and are encouraged to secure reservations prior to 7 PM Wednesday through Saturday evenings. However, on Friday and Saturday nights after 9:00 PM, and ALL DAY on Sundays, ROOF is strictly for guests ages 21 and over.

Reservations, though not required for entry, are highly recommended for seating at a table.  Seating is not guaranteed without a reservation.

For parties over 12 guests, seating for the entire party is not guaranteed, as our larger tables are lounge tables with lowered seating that comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.  If you are looking for a reservation for a party larger than 15, it may need to go through our Sales Team as a private event.  Please reach out at rreservations@thewithotel.com for additional information and booking.

There is a time limit of 90 minutes for parties up to 4 people, and 3 hours for parties of 5 people or more.

For safety reasons and to not take away from the environment for other guests, ROOF does not allow balloons to be brought in for parties or to be allowed at a table. This includes helium-filled balloons, latex balloons, and any other inflatable decorations.

We allow guests to bring cakes for celebrations. There is a cake fee of $5 per person for a cake at a table. This covers the holding, the presentation, and the cutting and serving or the cake.  If you bring a cake and choose not to pay the fee, the ROOF will not provide a knife, plates, sparklers, or presentation of the cake. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a cake.

Professional photography and videography inside the establishment are strictly prohibited without prior authorization from management AND ownership. This policy respects the privacy and comfort of all guests. Please refrain from using excessive lighting and cameras in common areas and guest rooms in order to respect the experience of other guests.

• We do not offer a guest list for expedited entry. Reservations will gain priority entry but will need to follow standard security protocol.
• Please note that re-entry is not permitted during Sunday’s Private Event. Once you have left the ROOF, you will not be allowed to re-enter.

To ensure access to ROOF during your stay, we highly encourage guests to make a reservation by visiting roofontehwit.com/reservations. For those guests who choose NOT to make a reservation, we do allow complimentary access based upon a first come, first served basis for key card holder plus one guest.

Any lost and found items, including debit/credit cards will be turned into Lost & Found at the end of the night. Guests are encouraged to contact the front desk the next day for any inquiries regarding lost items. Please notify us immediately if you believe you have misplaced any belongings during your visit. However, the ROOF is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

The Smoke-Free Illinois Act requires that public places and places of employment must be completely smoke-free inside and within 15 feet from entrances, exits, windows that open and ventilation intakes. Smoking is only permitted downstairs, outside, and 15 feet away from the hotel premises.

There are parking garages located next to our building for your convenience. We offer valet services at a rate of $28 for up to 3 hours and $45 for anything above that. Please note that parking garage rates are subject to their daily pricing as we are not affiliated with any parking garage at this time.

• ROOF features LIVE DJ Entertainment Wednesday – Sundays.
• Musical style includes mainstream dance music, top 40s, Latin, House, and select Hip hop tracks.
• On weekends (Friday-Sunday), music levels in the main area of ROOF are adjusted to create a vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, we offer designated rooms and spaces set up for a relaxed lounge ambiance, ideal for intimate conversations with your guests.

The ROOF offers a full dinner menu that features casual and shareable items, including pizzas that are freshly made in our hearth oven and hand rolled sushi which pairs perfectly with our classic cocktails and unparalleled city views.

• Monday to Wednesday: Full menu available from open until 10pm, then pizza only afterwards.
• Thursdays and Fridays: Full menu available from open until 11pm, then pizza only afterwards.
• Saturday: Brunch menu available from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. Dinner menu from 4 PM to 11 PM. Pizza available all day.
• Sunday: Limited Brunch Menu along with other select items
• Happy Hour: Monday to Friday, from 4 PM to 6 PM.

Yes, we offer a variety of gluten free options including a majority of the sushi menu, salads, and gluten free pizzas by request.

Yes, we have a few vegetarian options off the pizza and sushi menus, and more items can be modified by request.

ROOF does not allow outside food or drink. With the exception of cakes, as stated above.

• ROOF does not allow suitcases or large bags upstairs. All guests will be subject to metal detector testing. ROOF does not allow firearms or any weapons of any kind.  All purses and bags will also be searched by security before entry.
• At ROOF, we promote responsible drinking. We encourage our guests to enjoy alcoholic beverages responsibly and to make use alternative transportation options when needed.
